A Board Member Shares Her Passion

//A Board Member Shares Her Passion

Answering the call: Dedicated Board Members can make all the difference.

Service is the key component to servant leadership, but it is not the only component. There is also the difference between sitting on a board and serving on a board.

Servant leadership is a leadership philosophy in which the goal of the leader is to serve. This is different from traditional leadership where the leader’s focus is the thriving of their company or organizations.

“As many of you know, I’m passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and healthcare organizations”, Kate recently shared in her newsletter.

She went on to share her gratitude in being a part of good things ahead!

We are particularly appreciative of our board members who share similar sentiments.  One thing she mentioned is ” The meaningful work of the McGregor Pace Program and similar programs across the country—I’m so proud to volunteer on the McGregor Foundation Board of Directors”.  So on behalf of McGregor, Thank you, Kate.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”  – Margaret Mead
